Professor Sachs is the President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and was recently appointed to lead The Lancet COVID-19 Commission to help speed up global, equitable and lasting solutions to the pandemic. Professor Sachs is the author of many best selling books including the recently released The Ages of Globalization.
In this discussion, Professor Sachs focusses on the COVID-19 roadmap to recovery with an emphasis on the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals, fair climate objectives and global cooperation.
