In today's video, let's talk with Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, to learn more about how China lift up poor people out of poverty. Now, China's idea and effort is benefitting the world, inspiring the world to find new ways to reduce poverty.
"Since I wrote a book called, The End of Poverty, to see poverty come to an end in China is a great accomplishment and a great inspiration for places like Africa where there still is are a lot of poverty but when I go to Africa I say you see how fast China ended poverty, you should, you can do the same thing and so China is a kind of model or inspiration for rapid poverty reduction. "
